Crime watch meeting

A neighborhood crime watch group will meet today at 6:30 p.m. in the Cherokee County History Museum building on College Drive.

Area residents are invited to attend the meeting to discuss ways to prevent crime. An organizational meeting in March resulted in suggestions, such as installing more lighting and security alarms and trimming back shrubbery around homes.
