Veronica Roseboro
SAVANNAH, Ga. - Veronica Roseboro, 52, of 117 Davidson Ave., died Thursday, June 21, 2007, at 2 a.m. in Memorial Health University Medical Center.
A native of Cleveland County, N.C., she was the wife of Harvey Roseboro and daughter of Helen Littlejohn Ford of Earl, N.C., and the late Frazier Littlejohn. She was a former member of Fairview A.M.E. Zion Church and a 1973 graduate of Crest High School, Boiling Springs, N.C.
Mrs. Roseboro attended and graduated from Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte and Gardner-Webb College in Shelby. While living in Savannah, she taught at Charles Ellis Elementary School, worked at Sears and owned her own day care business for many years.
Also surviving are a son, Ryan L. Roseboro of Savannah; two sisters, Joyce Littlejohn of Savannah and April T. Littlejohn of Shelby; and a brother, Reginald W. Littlejohn of Savannah.
Services will be held today at 3 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Earl, conducted by the Revs. Simon A. McClain, Walter Wright, Nathaniel Crosby, Willie Littlejohn, Minister Dorothy Woods and Minister Esther Littlejohn. Interment will be in Fairview A.M.E. Zion Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 2-3 p.m. prior to the services.
Pallbearers will be Winford Brooks, John Woods, Winford Brooks Jr., Robert D. Littlejohn, Bobby Burris, Paul A. Littlejohn Jr., Reginald W. Littlejohn and William M. Littlejohn.
The family is at the home of her mother, Helen L. Ford, 232 John Crawford Road, Earl.
