Born in Spartanburg, she was the widow of Ronnie Upchurch and daughter of Joan Bryant and the late Dallas Bryant; and stepdaughter of Freida Bryant. Mrs. Upchurch was employed by Newark and was of the Baptist faith.

      Lois Royce McCullough, 90, of Peachtree Centre, 1434 N. Limestone St., died Sunday, June 24, 2007, at Peachtree Centre. A native of Gaffney, she was the widow of William Max Schwab and daughter of the late Keenan Leslie McCullough and the late Margaret Peterson McCullough. She was a beautician and member of Central Baptist Church.

Born in Gaffney, she was the daughter of Mary Bratton Reynolds and the late Floyd Reynolds. She was a retired school teacher having taught fourth grade for 39 years at Goucher Elementary School.
