Mattie Mae Childers Mullinax, 67, of 1937 Victory Trail Road, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, Aug. 10, 2007, at Upstate Carolina Medical Center.

Born in Gaffney, she was the widow of Edford Mullinax and daughter of the late Eddie Childers and Alice Childers Childers. She was a homemaker and attended Abingdon Creek Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Timmy Edward Mullinax of Gaffney and Vandy Edward Mullinax and wife, Pam, of York; two daughters, Janice Peeler and husband, Wayne, of Gaffney and Linda Martin and husband, Doyle, of Blacksburg; three sisters, Annie Mae Spencer, Edna Sexton, both of Gaffney, and Jimmy Ogle of Shelby, N.C.; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren

Graveside services will be held today at 2 p.m. at Abingdon Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Alan Peeler officiating.

Visitation was held Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at Blakely Funeral Home.

The family is at the home of Janice Peeler, 1937 Victory Trail Road.
