Retired legal secretary

SPINDALE, N.C. - Agnes Dowling Keller, 70, of 303 Dogwood Lane, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Sept. 23, 2007.

Born in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late Charles Buist Dowling and the late Ruth Havener Dowling and the companion of Gary Wilson of Spindale. She was a retired legal secretary and a graduate of Limestone College. Mrs. Keller was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Ruth, N.C.

Surviving is a daughter, Janet Pearce Upchurch and husband, Jeff of Gaffney; three brothers, Charles Dowling III and wife, Suzie of Chapin, SC, John Dowling and wife, Nancy of Chapin, SC and Robert Dowling and wife, Barbara of Hot Springs, NC; two special grandchildren, Rachel Melissa Upchurch and Monica Louise Upchurch.

The family will receive friends from 2:30-4 p.m. Tuesday at Central Baptist Church. Funeral services will immediately follow at 4 p.m. with the Rev. Alan Peeler and Dr. Larry Gregg officiating. Entombment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens.
