Annie R. Williams MIAMI, Fla. - Annie Ruth Williams, 61, wife of Ben Williams Jr. of the home, died Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2007, in Miami. Born Sept. 21, 1946, in Gaffney, she was the daughter of the late Sam Smith and the late Mozell Smith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Fernando Williams, and a sister, Ruby Smith. Mrs. Williams was an active member of Lively Stone for Jesus Ministry in Miami. In addition to the husband, she is survived by her children, Larry Cooper, Armenta Grant, Dee Dee Williams, Bengee Williams and Benva C. Williams; three brothers, John T. Smith, James Edwards, both of Miami, and Bobby Smith of Cowpens; an aunt, Daisy Dover Brown of Gaffney; three sonsin law, Nathaniel Grant, Willie Everett and Cory Johnson; a daughter-in-law, Tasha Cooper; eight grandchildren, Jessica, Kenyottha, Jarrell, Lewis, Markquist, Artavious, Jeremiah and Neca; 10 greatgrandchildren, Eliga, Rinesha, Quinyarda, Tyrell, Kenyon, Demisha, Jamaie, Ja'myah, Joanna and Lewis; two close friends who were like her sisters, Margean and Gwendolyn; two special first cousins, Lucy Bell Oglesby and Lucy Mae Wells, both of Cowpens; and a host of other caring cousins, nieces, nephews and other family members. Services were held Friday, Sept. 14, at 11 a.m. at Lively Stone for Jesus Ministry, with Pastor Thelma Knowles officiating. Interment followed in Dade Memorial Park, Miami.
