KINGS MOUNTAIN - Elizabeth Turner Sisk, 80, of 109 Ezra Road, died Saturday, Sept. 22, 2007, at Wendover Hospice.

Mrs. Sisk was the widow of Ralph Sisk and was first married to the late Clyde L. James. She was the daughter of the late Hook Turner and the late Lettie Bell Turner. She was a member of Love Memorial Baptist Church and a retired textile employee.

Surviving are four sons, Dale James of the home, Jesse James and wife, Norma, of Pacolet, Victor James and wife, Sandra, of Greenville, Tenn., and Steve James and wife, Pat, of Florence; a daughter, Brenda Bundy and husband, George, of Lincolnton, N.C.; three sisters, Lois Ivy and husband Bill, Julia Appling and husband George, all of Shelby, and Jackie Black and husband, Dean, of Gaffney; 12 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held today at Antioch Baptist Church in Blacksburg, conducted by Dr. Paul Sorrells. Burial will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens in Gaffney. Body will be placed in the church at 1:30 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Christopher James, Lawrence James, Craig James and Jesse James Jr., Chad Inscore and Jake Gholson.

Visitation was held Sunday from 7-9 p.m. at Gordon Mortuary.

The family is at the residence.

Memorials may be made to Wendover Hospice of Cleveland County, 953 Wendover Heights Drive, Shelby, N.C., 28150.
