Kenneth Leon Moss Sr., 62, of 126 Foster Road, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Sept. 20, 2007, at Upstate Carolina Medical Center.

Born in Gaffney, he was the husband of Jean Patterson Blackwell and son of the late Marvin C. and Janelle Allison Moss. Mr. Moss was retired from Duke Power Company and was a member of West End Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife, he is also survived by three sons, Ken Moss Jr. of Winston-Salem, N.C., Ron Moss of Columbia and Chad Moss of Blacksburg; a daughter, Malagni Mardis, and husband, Perry, of Gaffney; two brothers, Charles Moss and wife, Pat, and Edward Moss, all of Gaffney; and nine grandchildren, Dustin Moss, Brandon Moss, Shannon Moss, Josh Moss, Tayler Moss, Kayce Moss, Cameronn Moss, Patrick Mardis and Abby Mardis.

Graveside services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in Frederick Memorial Gardens, conducted by Mr. Ashby Blakely. The family met with friends at the graveside following the service.
