BOSTIC, N.C. - Melissa June Cooper Bullard Linder, 48, of 182 Kemit Court, widow of Charles Wayne Linder, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007, at her home.

Born in Jackson, Miss., Mrs. Linder was a daughter of the late Clyde Lee and Carolyn Wright Cooper. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are a daughter, Jennifer Michelle Moody, and a son, Eugene Lee Bullard, both of Bostic; four sisters, Cathy Moore of Forest City, N.C., Loretta Cooper, Ginger Hardin and Mary Smalley, all of Cowpens; two brothers, Clyde Cooper of Bostic and Billy Cooper of Tuckasegee, N.C.; a granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held Sunday at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Shuford Hatcher Funeral Home at Frederick Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Sidney Norton. Interment was in Frederick Memorial Gardens. Visitation was held from 1:30-3 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.

The family is at the home of her sister, Mary Smalley, 221 Parris Road, Cowpens.
