Carl Maurice Davidson, 41, of 119 Gateway Drive, died Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2007, at 11:56 p.m. in Upstate Carolina Medical Center.

Son of the late Rubin Davidson and the late Eunice Wood Davidson, he was a native of Cherokee County and an employee of Odell Jeter Construction Co. of Gaffney.

Surviving are a sister, Kathy Davidson of Gaffney; an uncle, Bennie Knuckles of Winston- Salem, N.C.; a niece, Latoya Davidson of Gaffney; and two nephews, Brandt Davidson and Tyron Davidson of Gaffney.

Services will be held today at 4 p.m. at Foster Funeral Home, conducted by the Revs. Freddy Davidson and Robert L. Dover. Interment will be in Limestone Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Charles Dawkins, Jerry Galmon, Johnny Grant, James Hemphill, Thomas Hollis and Frankie Petty.
