Dr. Don Wilton guest speaker at Parson's Pantry banquet Nov. 3

Parson's Pantry Inc. will have a banquet at Midway Baptist Church Family Life Center on Saturday, Nov. 3, at 5:30 p.m. Dr. Don Wilton, pastor of First Baptist Church Spartanburg, will be the speaker. A meal will be served at $10 per person.

Parson's Pantry Inc., established by Ron and Karen Jackson, provides financial assistance to needy pastors, retired pastors, widows of pastors and married ministerial students. More than 20 families have been helped financially this year. Funds for the ministry are provided through fund raising events such as the banquet and by individual supporters of this work.

One ministerial student from North Carolina said, "Thank you so very much for the gracious love gift to our family. We thank God for you and your ministry. What a blessing you are to so many. We pray God will continue to bless your ministry and those that give, in order for you to give to those in need. The gift came just when we needed it - God is always right on time."
