Book signing

REV. CHARLES HOOD The Rev. Charles E. Hood makes his return to Kirby Memorial Baptist Church this Thursday, where he will be on hand to sign his book entitled "Seven Day Journey Into Glory."

Hood, who now resides in Laurens, delivered sermons from the church's pulpit for many years before deciding to take on other goals God placed in his way.

The beloved former pastor and his wife, Bette, will be signing books from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Copies of the book will be on hand for $10.

The public is also invited to join Rev. Hood as they dine at Midway at Willards at noon for a "Dutch Meal."
