Ethel Kassler Bernstein, 85, died Monday, Oct. 8, 2007.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, Oct. 9, at 2 p.m. in Culley's MeadowWood Memorial Park in Tallahassee, Fla.

Born in Buffalo, S.C., she was a retired teacher from Gaffney High School. She was a member of Temple Israel in Tallahassee.

Survivors include a son, Charles P. Bernstein f Atlanta; two daughters, Susan B. Stauber and husband, Alvin, of Tallahassee and Sally B. Ginburg and husband, Paul, of Atlanta; and seven grandchildren, Mimi Stauber, Jonathan Ginburg, Bennett Ginburg, Daniel Ginburg, Amy Bernstein, Katie Bernstein and Emily Bernstein.

Mrs. Bernstein was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Richard E. Bernstein.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Temple Israel, 2215 Mahan Drive, Tallahassee, Fla. 32308.
