Freightliner plant evacuated

An apparent bomb threat interrupted Monday morning operations at the Freightliner plant in Gaffney on Monday morning as employees were forced to evacuate the building while the Cherokee County Sheriff's Department investigated.

Employees were allowed to make their way back into the building at 7:30 a.m.

No additional details were available at press time.
