Browns coming home for revival services
It is always so good to come home to Cherokee County.
Joy and I appreciate each and every invitation and opportunity to do so.
We are honored and really are looking forward to being back home to share in the revival services at Cherokee Avenue Baptist Church, Nov. 4 -7.
We appreciate the kind invitation of Dr. Clyde Thomas, pastor, and the good people of Cherokee Avenue. The services will be held in the sanctuary of Cherokee Avenue at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 4, and at 7 p.m. each evening, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, Nov. 5, 6, and 7.
There is a luncheon (free of charge) scheduled with Joy as the speaker and it is open to all on Tuesday, Nov. 6, at noon in the Family Life Center of the church. Although there is no charge for the luncheon, the church respectfully requests that you call the church office (489-2568) to let them know if you would like to come so they can plan adequately for the lunch.
Thank you for your prayerful support! We hope to see you at Cherokee Avenue, if you possibly can come. It will be our joy to have you worship and share with us as we pray for God's blessings on the services and our messages, including music and drama.
Also, please remember you are always invited to come worship with us at First Baptist Church in Boone, N.C., or wherever we may be. We love and appreciate you all.
God bless you,
Wayne and Joy Brown
Boone, N.C.
P.S. A few weeks after the revival, we are planning a four-day trip to visit the Amish Country of Lancaster, Pennsylvania with Christian Tours for "An Amish Christmas" to see the spectacular musicals, The Miracle of Christmas and Voices of Christmas. The trip is scheduled after Thanksgiving, leaving on Wednesday, Nov. 28 and returning Saturday, Dec. 1, 2007.
Please call us if you have any interest at all and we can send you the itinerary, OK? (828-265-4680) Thank you for your interest. God bless you.
