Joy Brown has been referred to as a "program planner's dream." Her presentations are motivating, heartfelt and tender. As a Christian author and speaker, she has authored, coauthored or been a contributing author for eight books and has spoken in a variety of settings. Her varied experience and her love for God's Word (especially correlating Old Testament context with New Testament teachings) make her a gifted expositor with a powerful message.
She founded Word of Joy as a speaking and writing ministry and, along with her husband, formed Diversified Ministries to increase awareness of missions and to provide emotional/spiritual support for ministers/ missionaries and their spouses.
Her educational training includes experience in dramatic arts, music, a teacher/interpreter for the deaf, and a specialist in remedial education. She is a minister's wife, mother of two daughters (and sons-in-law) and a soon-to-be grandmother. Her passion is sharing the "joy" of the Lord through teaching His Word.
