Fall festivals

Macedonia Baptist Church will have a fall festival Saturday, Oct. 27, from 4- 7 p.m. All proceeds will go to help families at Christmas. There will be a hot dog supper, bake sale, silent cake auction, country store, inflatables, games, a maze, hayrides, entertainment and more.

A community-wide fall festival will be held Saturday, Oct. 27, from 5-7 p.m. at Crestview Baptist Church, 3010 Chesnee Hwy. There will be music, inflatables, costume contests, treat bags, prizes, registration give-aways, hayrides, food and more.

Gaffney Freewill Baptist Church on Whelchel Road will have a fall festival Saturday, Oct. 27, beginning at 4 p.m.

Church news

Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church in Hickory Grove will have a fall bazaar Saturday, Oct. 27. Hours are 8 a.m.-1 p.m. There will be sausage biscuits and gravy biscuits for breakfast and hamburgers, hot dogs and chicken stew for lunch. There will be a country store, frozen casserole sale, bake sale, crafts and a silent auction. All proceeds go to the church's building fund. For more information, call 925-2316 or 925-2626.

A two-night revival will be held Oct. 25-26 at 7 p.m. at Way of Life Praise and Worship Center. Speaker will be Minister Juanita Dewberry, associate minister at Bethel Baptist Church.

Revival services are being held Oct. 21-28 at New Harvest Ministries, 215 Pecan St. People of the church will be ministering. Evangelist Jane Evans of Marietta will be the speaker Friday. Services will be at 7 p.m.
