Lady Saints dump Converse

The Limestone volleyball team defeated conference foe Converse College, 33-31, 30-25, 30-27 Tuesday in Spartanburg.

Melissa Thomas helped push the Lady Saints to victory, recording her eighth double double of the season with 20 kills and 11 digs.

The Lady Saints improve to 15-14 overall and 13-3 in conference play.

Converse drops to 3-24 overall and 3-13 on the season.

Courtney Taotoai paced the Lady Saints with 19 digs and Laura Kerrison handed out 28 assists.

Chelsea Anthony had four aces and 10 digs.

Ashley Hubbard had a strong all-around performance with six kills, three aces and five blocks.

The Lady Saints return to action Friday against visiting St. Andrews.
