Retired cosmetologist

Mary Lou Jowers Morris, 85, a resident of Magnolias of Gaffney, formerly of Potter Road, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2007, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Born in Fitzgerald, Ga., she was the widow of Teddy Morris and daughter of the late Woodrow Neighbors and Lottie Mae Neighbors. Mrs. Morris was a retired cosmetologist and a member of New Market Baptist Church in Greenwood. She was a member of the Eastern Star.

Surviving are two sons, Dr. William R. (Bob) Morris and wife, Lorrie, of Gaffney and Teddy Morris Jr. and wife, Shelly, of Kansas City, Kansas; four grandchildren, Angela Morris, Robyn Saladino and husband, Kris, Will Morris and Mac Morrow; and two greatgrandchildren, Morgan Saladino and Haley Saladino.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Morris was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Graveside services will be held today at 2 p.m. in Greenwood Memorial Gardens in Greenwood, conducted by Mr. Ashby Blakely. The family will meet with friends at the graveside after the service.

Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.

The family will be at the home of Dr. Bob Morris, 475 Potter Road, Gaffney.
