BLACKSBURG - Louis E. Thacker, 83, of Proctorville, Ohio, formerly of the Smyrna community, passed away Friday, Oct. 19, 2007, in West Virginia.

A celebration of life service was held Wednesday, Oct. 24, at Canaan United Methodist Church Cemetery in Smyrna with Mr. Mack Wyatt officiating.
