2007-11-02 / Local News

The Blacksburg High School Wildcat Marching Band will have its annual fall Fish Fry this Saturday, November 3, 2007, at the BHS cafeteria from 11:00 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. Diners have many choices at the BHS Fish Fry: you may dine in or take out plates. Delivery is available for orders of 10 or more plates. Diners may choose from fried catfish or fried chicken strips or a combination of both. Dine-in only is all-you-can eat. Adult plates are $7.50 each and child plates for ages 7 or younger only are $4.50. Soft drinks are available for 50 cents each; tea is included for dine-in only. There will also be a bake sale of homemade goodies.

The Wildcat Band will also have the following events at the Fish Fry. They will take orders for fresh Florida fruit to be delivered the first week of December. A variety of citrus is being sold including navel oranges, pink grapefruit and tangelos. Orders are also being taken for Rada cutlery. These fine kitchen knives will be back in time for Christmas.

Raffle tickets will also be sold at the Fish Fry. The band is raffling a Rafa Cutlery Set, an Outback Steak House Dinner for Two, and 50/50 chances where the winner gets 50% of the money collected for the 50/50 raffle and the band gets the other 50%.

All proceeds go to the Wildcat Band to help fund student trips and other band fees. Please support our band!
