Debbie Strickland will host the second meeting of the year for the Cherokee County "Bench Backers" on Nov. 6 at 7 p.m.

The organization is an adult ministry of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). For anyone whose husband has a career in athletics, there will be a time of fellowship, prayer and devotion.

Susan Spence, wife of Clemson offensive coordinator Rob Spence, was the keynote speaker at the first meeting. However, this meeting will be slightly different with several ladies giving devotion.

"The aim for "Bench Backers" is to reach every coach's wife in the county," Rebecca Caggiano of "Bench Backers" said.
