Two arrested after drugs found

Two Gaffney residents were arrested Wednesday after authorities said they found drugs at a home at 125 Monticello St.

Isley Berbard Wallace, 36, and Shereka Lavetta Dawkins, 28, of that address, are charged with possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine within a halfmile of a school and possession of marijuana.

Wallace is also charged with possession of alprazolam.

According to a report at the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office, at 8:45 a.m. on Wednesday agents with the Cherokee County Metro Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant at the home and found a white contacts case containing a blue pill.

Agents also found a "green plantlike material" believed to be marijuana on a living room table and a white vitamin bottle with a glassine bag inside that contained a "white rock-like substance."
