World Day of Prayer

KNUCKLES The Thickety Mountain Baptist Association Senior Missionary and Y.W.A. will observe World Day of Prayer Monday, November 5, at 7 p.m. at the Thickety Mountain Baptist Association Building.

Mrs. Marjorie L. Knuckles will be the guest speaker. Mrs. Knuckles is a native of Gaffney and a retired teacher from Anderson. While living in Anderson, she was the administrator of mission projects for 69 churches and also participated in many mission trips throughout the Southeast. She is a member of Dunton United Methodist Church and a certified Lay Speaker of the church where she serves faithfully, participating in various aspects of the church life. Senior missionary president is Daisy Smith and Y.W.A. President is Terri Williams.
