Andy Lee Lowery, 13, of 131 Marietta Road, went home to be with the Lord October 31, 2007 at Upstate Carolina Medical Center.

The son of Charlie Eugene Lowery of Gaffney and Judy Williams Lowery of the home, Andy was a student at Ewing Middle School and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where he was active in the church youth group.

In addition to his parents, Lowery is survived by a brother, Charlie Eugene Lowery Jr. of the home; two sisters, Summer Nicole Lowery and Renee Elizabeth Feairheller, both of Douglasvile, Pa., his maternal grandmother, Betty Jean Williams of Gaffney; his paternal grandmother and step-grandfather Lloyd and Mary Love of Blacksburg; and his paternal grandfather Clarence "Scott" Lowery of Gaffney. He is also survived by several uncles, David Messer, Clarence Messer, Jimmy Williams and Eddie Williams, all of Gaffney; as well as several aunts, Bonnie Love of Cowpens, Elizabeth Caraballo of Cowpens and Joyce Moreno of Gaffney.

The family will hold a receiving of friends Saturday from 7-9 p.m. at Gordon Mortuary. The funeral will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Gordon Mortuary Chapel with burial following at Oakland Cemetery. The Revs. Terry Pleasant and Clint Phillips will be officiating.

The family will be at the home of Crystal Towe, 131 Marietta Road, Lot 8, in Gaffney or at the home of Louise Williams, 871 Old Racetrack Road.
