MOORESBORO, N.C. - Christy Lyn Cox White, 26, of 1242 Steel Bridge Road, died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2007, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

She was a native of Spartanburg, a housewife and member of Flint Hill Baptist Church in Shelby.

She is survived by her husband, John P. White Jr.; two sons, Isaac William White and Payton Grant White, both of the home; father, Terry Keith Cox of Inman; mother, Harriett Seay Crisp of Pauline; stepmothers, Lora Sizemore and Lori McClain, both of Inman; stepfather, J.R. Crisp of Pauline; two brothers, Keith Cox of Inman and Adam Crisp of Pauline; a sister, Terianne Cox of Inman; grandparents, Earlie and Kathryn Crisp of Pauline, Bennie and Hilda Mathews of Inman and Geneva G. Seay of Wellford; greatgrandmother, Liddy Gosnell of Campobello; father-in-law and mother-in-law, John P. White Sr. and Rebecca Grant White of Mooresboro.

She was preceded in death by a grandfather, J. L. Seay.

Services will be held today at 2 p.m. at Flint Hill Baptist Church, conducted by Dr. Wayne Stacey. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation was held Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at McKinney- Landreth Funeral Home.
