Martin celebrate 56th

Joe and Maggie Martin John Wayne (Joe) and Margaret (Maggie) Martin of Maple Drive celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary on Oct. 13, 2007, with a party at the home of Joanie Martin Martin and Jim (Jimbo) Martin on Twin Bridge Road.

Mr. and Mrs. Martin are the parents of four children - Phillip Wayne Martin and wife, Laura T. Martin, and their children, Bethany and Richard of Gaffney; Joanie M. and Jimbo Martin of Gaffney and their children Brady and wife, Catherine, of Charlotte and Will of Knoxville, Tenn.; Janie M. and Steve Norris of Knoxville and their children, Daniel of Atlanta, Drew of Knoxville and China, and Claire of Knoxville; and Carol M. and Craig Lowry of Spartanburg.
