A Fall Fest and Family Literacy Night will be held at Gaffney Middle School on Tuesday, Nov. 13.

There will be games such as Plinko, Bingo, football toss, fingernail painting, face painting, fishing, Quiz Bowl, math games, icky-yucky room, baseball toss, ring toss, prizes, hayide, a silent auction, cake walk and a book giveaway. Sign up for public library cards for the family, get information about earning a GED, information about the Literacy Association in Cherokee County, sign up for a free MVP card giving support to GMS and join the PTO. There will be fun for everyone.

Armbands can be purchased from the school for $5 each which will allow the wearer to participate in the games and activities. Tickets for the cake walk are $1 each and PTO memberships are $1 each. Supper will be served from 5-6 p.m. only at $2 per plate. A plate includes one hot dog, a bag of chips, a cookie and a drink. Armbands and the ticket for supper can be purchased in advance from the school on Monday or Tuesday. Come by the school or send money with your child.
