Early morning accident lands two Gaffney residents in jail

Four arrested after allegedly shooting road signs from car
      Four Gaffney residents were arrested Wednesday after authorities received a call about shots being fired from a vehicle. Justinn Caldwell, 23, and Christopher Forest Byars, 22, both of 139 Greenfield Road, and Michael Eric Dobbins, 23, of 1619 Leadmine Road, have been charged with discharging a firearm and malicious damage to property.

Attorney General's task force cracking down on Internet predators
McMaster announces 100th arrest since implementing statewide program

      S.C. Attorney General Henry McMaster announced last week that a task force assembled to crack down on Internet predators across the state has reached a major landmark. McMaster's Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task force made its 100th arrest last week. The operation began in April 2004.
