Born in Gaffney, she was the widow of Marshall Davis and daughter of the late Arthur Bradley and Estelle Wells Bradley. She was a retired beautician and of the Baptist faith.

Clyde Harmon Atkins and daughter of the late Adam Alexander Bingham and the late Lexi Elizabeth Watkins Bingham. She worked as a spinner in textiles and was of the Baptist faith.
