KINGS MOUNTAIN - Eddie Leroy Bridges Sr., 88, of 108 Bridges Circle, died Monday, Dec. 19, 2007, in Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte.

One of 15 children, he was born June 17, 1919, to the late Joseph and Senora Thompson Bridges in Cherokee County.

Services will be held today at 3 p.m. at Washington Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Webber officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. at S.T. Enloe Memorial Chapel on Thursday evening.
