Paul Eugene Johnson, 83, of 1230 Overbrook Drive, Apt. 202-B, passed away on December 24, 2007, at Upstate Carolina Medical Center.

Born in Tennessee, Mr. Johnson was a veteran of the United States Army and Navy. He was retired from Overnite Trucking Company and attended Trinity United Methodist Church.

He is survived by three granddaughters at heart, Deborah Wilson, Lisa Majeski and Denise Dickson; and three great-grandchildren at heart, Ashley Higgins, Mindi Higgins and Carlie Lanford; a granddaughter, Cindy Duncan of Gaffney; and a great-grandson, D.J. Duncan of Gaffney.

Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by two daughters, Paula Johnson and Jean Johnson.

Graveside services will be held today 11 a.m. in Oakland Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be David Majeski, Roger Dickson, Cameron Dickson and Eddie Godfrey.

Visitation was held Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Blakely Funeral Home.
