Blacksburg Administrator and Fire Chief Danny McDaniel died unexpectedly just after midnight Saturday. An autopsy revealed McDaniel died of cardiac arrhythmia as a result of an enlarged heart, said Cherokee County Coroner Dennis Fowler. McDaniel had celebrated his 51st birthday Friday. More...
