Coleman leads four Saints in double figures in win over Crusaders

The Limestone men's basketball team made it look easy against non-conference North Greenville on Saturday.

Andre Coleman had 31 points to lead four Saints in double figures in a 90-79 victory.

Shawn Poppie had 18 points and eight assists, while Terrell Smith added 15 points and Marq Bell had 14 for the Saints, who made 31 of their 52 field goal attempts.

Amozno Gantt had 21 points for the Crusaders, who drop to 6-7.

The Saints were especially hot in the first half, shooting 66 percent from the field to take a commanding 47-31 lead into halftime.

The Saints shot well from the foul line, hitting 17 of their 22 free throws.

Each team grabbed 26 rebounds for the game.

Limestone, which improved to 9-4, returns to conference play today at Coker. Tip off is 4 p.m.
