Hazel Chandler
Co-owner and operator of Gaffney Feed and Supply

Hazel Lee Vaughn Chandler, 95, of 201 E. Fairview Ave., went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Feb. 11, 2007, at Peachtree Centre.

Born in Greer, she was the widow of C.B. Chandler and daughter of the late William Vaughn and Lula Mae Dillard Vaughn. She was co-owner and operator of Gaffney Feed and Supply and was a member of Cherokee Avenue Baptist Church.

Surviving are a son, Marcus Chandler and wife, Dorothy Peterson, of Gaffney; a sister, Frances Stokes of Taylors; four grandchildren, Cindy Skelton and husband, Rick, Laura Blackwelder and husband, John, Mark Chandler and fianceé, Sunshine Saulps, and Brian Chandler; seven great-grandchildren, Brandon Chandler, Erica Chandler, Calvin Chandler, Walter Brett Chandler, Austin Chandler, Dalton Hopper and Gabriel Hopper.

Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Blakely Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by Dr. Clyde Thomas. Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends tonight from 6-8 at Blakely Funeral Home.

The family will be at her residence, 201 E. Fairview Ave.
