Geneva J. Polhemus

Geneva Jefferies Polhemus, 93, of 71 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, N.J., died Tuesday, June 19, 2007, at her home.

Widow of Joseph Polhemus, she was born in Gaffney, a daughter of the late Walter and Nora Talley Jefferies.

She was preceded in death by siblings, Bernice Hogue, Louise Jackson, Mahalia Dawkins, Polly Vanlue, Beadie Littlejohn, Jessie Mae Hawkins, James Franklin Jefferies Sr., Walter Jefferies Jr., and Stan Jefferies.

Memorial services will be held today at 5 p.m. at the home of her niece, Andra Kaye Jefferies, in Teaneck, N.J.
