C. Gene Medley
Retired school teacher

Cliff Gene Medley, 80, of 1006 Clary St., went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 19, 2007, at his home.

Born in Gaffney, he was the husband of Evelyn Nance Medley and son of the late Cliff Wyatt Medley and Emma Watkins Medley. Mr. Medley was a veteran of the United States Army and was a Mason and Shriner. He was a retired teacher with the Cherokee County School District and was a member of Kirby Memorial Baptist Church.

Also surviving are a son, Reggie Medley and wife, Janie, of Gaffney; two grandsons, Brian Medley and wife, Stephanie, and Brad Medley and wife, Amy, all of Gaffney; and five greatgrandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Medley was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters.

Graveside services will be held today at 11 a.m. in Frederick Memorial Gardens, conducted by Mr. Ashby Blakely. The family will meet with friends at the graveside following the service.
