Three face meth charges
By JOHN MURRAY Ledger Staff Writer

Metro Narcotics agents arrested three Gaffney residents early Tuesday morning and charged them with possession of methamphetamines.

Roger Dean Wylie Jr., 18, and Celia N. Wylie, 22, of 219 Chesnut Ridge Road, and William James Frank III, 24, of 303 Joyce St. were arrested by officers at 312 E. Frederick St.

Roger Dean Wylie Jr. was charged with possession of meth with intent to distribute and simple possession of marijuana in the second degree, according to police reports. Wylie Jr. was denied bond.

Both Celia N. Wylie and Frank III were charged with possession of meth. Bond was set at $2,500.

When agents searched the residence at 312 E. Frederick St., they discovered three baggies on a bedroom night stand containing a brown, powdery substance. Inside each baggie was a handrolled cigarette containing a green, leafy substance.

The report states Wylie Jr. was out on bond when he was arrested on Tuesday. He was arrested in August and charged with manufacturing marijuana, police said.
