Carolyn Schoenly Butler, 65, wife of John E. Butler, passed away Monday, Sept. 3, 2007, after an extended illness.

Born in Washington, D.C., on Aug. 1, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Earl F. and Annie Schoenly. Mrs. Butler was a wife and mother.

In addition to her husband she is survived by 10 children, William Anderson, Johnny Butler, James Lee, David Payne, Ann Munoz, Delores Jernigan, Paula Kingrey, Ginger Butler, Brenish Allen and Effie Connor; 27 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

One of her greatest desires was for her family to be together again.
