Gainey discusses 'PALS' at club meeting Nov. 13 The Tuesday Woman's Club met Nov. 13 in the formal parlors of the Curtis Building on the Limestone College campus. Speaker was Dr. Karen Gainey, the college's Vice-President for Academic Affairs Dr. Gainey spoke about "PALS," a special program at Limestone for alternative learning. It was developed to serve college age students with learning disabilities. Gainey said that the program is going really well and is available only at Limestone College at the present time. Club members found the program interesting and informative After the program, a short business session was held, after which refreshments were served by the hostesses, Mrs. George Coggins, Mrs. Roy Mathis and Mrs. Charles Stroup. |
