Support the Indians as they travel to Summerville

Dear TRUE Gaffney Fans:

This year has been yet another good year for the Gaffney Indian football team.

We are 11-2, and heading into a big showdown at Summerville for a chance to win a third consecutive state title.

However, I've heard this season many fans, students, and others around here saying negative things about our team. To all you REAL fans out there, thank you for supporting this team. To all of those who do nothing but criticize this and that, get over yourselves. Considering we have a very young team this year, I would say that 11-2 is awesome. The defense is one of the best we've had. In eight out of 13 games this season our opponent has scored 7 points or less. Is that not good enough for some of you?

I hope each and every one of you can make it down to the Lowcountry to support YOUR team as they continue to defend their state title. Also, since our band director feels no need to send the band down there, I hope that all those who do make it are as loud as possible for our Indians.

Bottom line is, stop finding things that are "wrong" with the team, and go cheer them on and support these guys who give everything they have each and every week.

Having said all this, there's only one thing left to say ... GO INDIANS!
