Bonnie Cooper
Retired from City of Gaffney

Bonnell (Bonnie) Rollins Cooper, 75, of 227 Chestnut Ridge Road, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2007, at Upstate Carolina Medical Center.

Born in Sevierville, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late A.A. Rollins and Margaret Messer Rollins. She was retired from the City of Gaffney and was a member of Abingdon Creek Baptist Church.

She is survived by a son, Troy Cooper and wife, Betty, of Gaffney; a daughter, Sandra Cooper of Gaffney; a brother, Ray Rollins and wife, Mary, of Gaffney; a sister in-law, Mary Rollins of Gaffney; four grandchildren, Nikki Wisher, Clay Cooper and wife, Tina, Kenneth Cooper and wife, Tanya, and Colt Cooper, all of Gaffney; two step-grandchildren, Eric Martin and Tracy Parker; six great-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.

Ms. Cooper was preceded in death by a brother, Buford Rollins, and three sisters, Myrtle Love, Lucille Green and Faye Pennington.

Graveside services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in Oakland Cemetery, conducted by the Rev. Michael Miller. The family will meet with friends from 10:30-11 a.m. at the graveside before the service begins.

The family is at the home of Troy and Betty Cooper, 2039 Union Hwy., Gaffney.
