The 'Eagle' has landed at outlet mall A popular clothing and accessories retailer will soon be landing at Prime Outlets - Gaffney. American Eagle Outfitters - recognized by its famous embroidered landing eagle branded on its clothing - has submitted plans to locate in the outlet mall, according to a city official. The company, which is based in Pittsburgh, is often compared to other popular clothing retailers, Abercrombie & Fitch and Hollister because of its target market of 15- to 25-yearolds. Mall officials said no deal has been finalized but acknowledged ongoing negotiations with the clothing retailer. "We have been in discussions with American Eagle about bringing a store to Prime Outlets - Gaffney," a mall spokesperson said. "The possibility of adding this premiere youth brand to our retail mix will add to our already popular lineup of young American brands. Once we are certain of the brand's arrival at the center, we will share complete details." |
