Winfer Elizabeth Blankin Leigh, 84, formerly of Gaffney, died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2007, at Regional Hospice Home in Spartanburg.

Daughter of the late Callie and Ruth Blankin, she was born in Union on March 7, 1923. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Darwin Leigh; a sister, Nishie Shehan; and two brothers, James Blankin and Callie Blankin Jr.

Surviving are a daughter, Margaret Ann Leigh, of Enoree and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Oakland Cemetery in Gaffney.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, S.C. 29303.
