Abraham Norris

Abraham Norris, 96, of 442 Gantts Grove Circle, Moores- boro, N.C., passed away Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2007, at 5:24 p.m. at Century Care in Shelby.

A native of Cleveland County, N.C., he was the husband of Ella Martin Norris and son of the late Ella Norris. He was a member of Buck Shoals Baptist Church in Mooresboro and was retired from Cone Mills of Cliffside.

Also surviving are two brothers-in-law, Junior Jefferies of Shelby and Karry Jefferies of Charlotte; a sister in-law, Minnie Lattimore of Charlotte; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; Steve Walton of Mooresboro who was like a brother; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Arrangements will be announced by Foster Funeral Home.
