Delilah M.C. Aiken, 91, of 2453 Prospect Church Road, Mooresboro, N.C., died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2007, at 10:30 a.m., in Cleveland Regional Medical Center.

A native of Gaffney, she was the daughter of the late James Manning and the late Stella Humphries Manning. She was a member of Mikes Creek Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Senior Missionary.

Surviving are her husband, James Aiken; a stepdaughter, Nancy Carpenter of Spartanburg; three brothers, the Rev. R.J. Manning of York, Pa., James G. Manning of Shelby and the Rev. Warren Manning of Gaffney; four sisters, Floyie Spells, Virgie Wray of Mooresboro, Doris Manning of Boiling Springs, N.C., and Ruth Aiken of Shelby; two sistersin law, Nellie Aiken and Mattie Mae Mosley of Orangeburg; two brothers-in-law, Willie Jr. Aiken and Sonny Aiken of Orangeburg; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Mikes Creek Baptist Church, conducted by Dr. S.M. Johnson and the Rev. Samuel Leach. Body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m.

Pallbearers and flower bearers will be her nephews and nieces.

Honorary pallbearers will be the trustees and deacons of Mikes Creek Baptist Church.

The family is at the 2457 Prospect Road, Mooresboro.
