Clemson's Harper enjoying first season under center

      CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) - If any Clemson player has earned the right to gloat, it's quarterback Cullen Harper. Instead, the junior flashes a wry smile, glad he got to show everyone else what he knew all along. Harper was the surprise of No. 15 Clemson's best season in four years.

Blacksburg defense seals win over Christ Church

      Tanner Hamrick and Ken Littlejohn intercepted passes in the final seven seconds Tuesday to give Blacksburg a 44-43 win over Christ Church. Blacksburg earned their first victory of the season with tough defense and just enough offense.
