Butch Harry

BLACKSBURG - Thomas H. (Butch) Harry, 61, a loving husband and father, of 508 S. Shelby St., died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2007, in Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte.

Born in Shelby, he was the husband of Martha S. Harry and son of Thomas Howard Harry Sr. He was raised by his grandparents, the late B.A. and Bessie Harry.

Mr. Harry was a member of Blacksburg ARP Church and was a U.S. Navy veteran.

Surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter, Shannon Harry of Athens, Ohio.

A memorial service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Blacksburg ARP Church, conducted by the Rev. David Rowe. The family will receive friends at the church following the service.
