Perry T. Lindsay
Cherokee County native

Perry Thomas Lindsay, 61, of 131 Concord Acres Drive,

died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2007, in Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, Spartanburg.

Husband

of Karen

Renee Hedrick Lindsay of the home, he was born in Cherokee County, a son Wilma Jefferies Lindsay and the late Grady Lindsay. He was a member of the Gaffney Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Perry was preceded in death by a son, Corey Lindsay, and four siblings, Grady Lindsay Jr., Alice Reid, Evelyn Lindsay and Aaron Lindsay, and Sandra L. Manning.

Also surviving are three daughters, Tena Stroud (Terry) of Boiling Springs, N.C., Charlene Littlejohn of Gaffney and Michele Proctor of St. Paul, Minn.; two sons, Kerry Rice and Perry Lindsay Jr., both of Blacksburg; stepchildren, Corey Hedrick of Kannapolis, N.C., Courtney Hedrick of Knoxville, Tenn., and Cornae Taylor ( Mike) of Concord, N.C.; 22 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a brother, Jones Lindsay of Gaffney; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 145 Twin Bridge Road, Gaffney.
