Voter registration deadline nears

The last day to register to vote for the Republican Presidential Preference Primary to be held on Jan. 19, 2008, is Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2007. The deadline to register to vote for the Democrat Presidential Preference primary to be held on Jan. 26, 2008, is Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2007. In order to vote you must be registered at least 30 days prior to any election.

The Voter Registration office is located at 1434 N. Limestone St. (Peachtree Centre), Room 1008, First Floor. Keep in mind that the Voter Registration office will be closed for Christmas on Monday, Dec. 24, and Tuesday, Dec. 25.
